SEMO man seriously injured in crash | News
A Southeast Missouri man was seriously injured Thursday in a one-vehicle crash.
The accident happened around 1:35 p.m. on Route PP east of Highway TT in Butler County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s crash report.
A 1998 Dodge 1500 pickup truck driven by 37-year-old Jason J. Tippen of Poplar Bluff, apparently slid off the right side of the road and hit a concrete culvert.
Tippen suffered minor injuries.
His passenger, 63-year-old Junior J. Tippen of Poplar Bluff, was seriously injured.
Both men taken by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
According to the report, neither man was wearing a seat belt.
