Couple found assaulted in home | Crime

Poplar Bluff police are investigating the assault of a couple in their home.

According to Captain David Sutton, a man arrived at his home in the 1900-block of Wilson Street Tuesday morning to find his mother and father had been severely assaulted. 

The victims were taken to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center with serious injuries.

Captain Sutton says the Butler County Major Case Squad has been activated.
