MO AG suing company for violating No Call law | Crime
Attorney General Chris Koster announced Tuesday his office has filed a lawsuit against a Utah company for making solicitation calls for medical alert devices and home security to Missourians on the state’s No Call list.
In a news release, Koster said his office has received numerous complaints from people who have received these calls.
The suit targets Green Wire Ventures, LLC and the company’s CEO, David Lee.
Koster is asking the court to stop Green Wire Ventures from calling Missourians on the No Call list. He is also seeking civil penalties and payment for the investigation and prosecution of the case.
Missourians can sign up for the No Call list at ago.mo.gov or by calling 866-662-2551.
